It's a beautiful piece! Where's the jade? Is it a doublet? It is lab-grown gemstones created by Dr. Imori (aka Iimori) in Japan. It is not Jade, mixture of naturel minerals created in the lab. In Japan, no value had been given for man-made jewelry also Victoria Stone. Almost material of Victoria Stone would flow out outside Japan and wasted after his death. Japanese doesn't like man-made Jewerly so Dr. Imori was gone without remining the manufacturing method. I love Victoria Stone, and found our this sadness truth last year. I had wrote avout it in my blog article. But on 2012, suddenly Victoria Stone came to attract attention in Japan. My Original article: usakoff.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_09.htmlrecently articles about its Details: usakoff.blogspot.com/2012/12/blog-post_27.html

Hmmmm, I asked about the jade because the thread title is Victoria Stone with Cobalite and Jade.
Victoria stone is truly a work of art, and so is your piece.

Hmmmm, I asked about the jade because the thread title is Victoria Stone with Cobalite and Jade. Victoria stone is truly a work of art, and so is your piece. Yes, I think also!! Please excuse me, I was deeply impressed with these posts which highly appreciated an artistic quality of Victria Stone. In addition, Mera-Jade which was the origin of Victoria Stone made for Jade in memories of Dr. Imori's son. Meta-Jade had changed Victroria Stone unexpectedly in lab. It's my Mera-Jade specimen miraculously in existence in Japan. Almost had thrown away as refuse; usakoff.blogspot.com/2012/12/blog-post_27.htmlMera-Jade is different from Jade (and Nephrite) in chemical composition. It was so hard for Imori to recreate natural one. It contains Quartz, Calcite, fluorite, Feldspar, also Victoria Stone and made with techniques for many days. I think other materials would be concern with the variation of its colors, as Cobaltite.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that.
Putting the Victoria stone together with the cobaltite and doing just the two sides truly turned into a beautiful piece. Now I'll check out your blog.
