Or put a few pieces in the toilet tank to keep the seat warm on those cold winter mornings...

Just received my rootbeer agate today. Large flat rate box was bursting with 35 pounds of material - barely held together with tape. Thanks, Julian (joemojave).

LOL, ours was the same......just got it today. Bursting with Trona & Bacon onyx and Jasper. The Jasper has great patterns and the pink/white striped Onyx is beautiful. Thanks Julian!

Mental note: use more tape next time.
I am glad you are all satisfied. Somebody said that their package had postage due when it arrived, and I am not sure why, but definately speak up if this also happens to you. I think I said this earlier in the thread, but I only used shipping confirmation on the large because I wanted to make sure they made it intact.
I guess that todd figured out my real name, lol. I hate to use it on the internet because I am kinda paranoid, so try not to spread it arround. Thanks, -"Joe"

Hey 'Joe', Got my box of Rootbeer today! Neat stuff! A small note though, maybe use more tape on the boxes? My frb arrived in a post office tote! Nice tote, too. I just may keep it! Thanks again for the stone! It really is great looking stuff! Dan.

I FINALLY got my box today. Whew, I was afraid it was decorating a post office driveway somewhere. Thanks "Joe". It seems like pretty nice stuff.

Donnie, see the little picture under your name and a little to the right? It looks like a letter sticking out of an envelope. Click on that icon under joemojave's name and that will get you to the screen to PM him.

LOL, I just sent you an apologetic PM because your stuff had not arrived yet.
I realised after one of the packages get returned by the PO how badly these things get beaten up, and they will get a lot more tape in the future. I guess heavy boxes tend to get beaten much worse than lightweight ones because I have never had a box get this chewed up before.

LOL, I think the post office employees deliberately drop these FRB's in direct proportion to how heavy they are. I guess the big wigs never anticipated that folks would send rocks through the mail - even though we've been doing it for years now...
