Swazi: Mongolian banded agate: They could look quite similar with fortifications, but Swazi usually has a bit more red, and the Mongolian pieces are more black.

Indonesian Agatized Fossil Corals are my recent favorites: My favorite piece among the lot is this one, because I spent most time on it. I preformed it out of a small slab to be a pendant shape.

So many, it is hard to pick a favorite. But I have to go with the Bot, even with the defects. Polish on it is spectacular.

Always enjoy the updates to your log/thread. The Swazi and Mongolian agates are pretty sweet, but there's some real nice ones in those Berbers too!

Fantastic job on these PS! Love the eyeball Berber...but I'm with you about the coral being SUPER fascinating! Thanks! The fossil corals that I have tumbled so far are more of specimen grade, but I acquired QUITE a few slabs that will hopefully have much less porous area. Just need to turn on my saw to cut them first...

Wow! What a fantastic show. They’re all really well done. That Swazi is probably my favorite. The little Berber nodules look like great additions to the tumbler too.
Thanks for sharing your work. It’s impressive.

Some less exciting tumbles, most are Gold Coin Eye Agate from Gobi Desert, Inner Mongolia. The two pieces whose dominant colors are not yellow and dark brown are Gobi Eye Agates from Mongolia. Most of them skipped step 1 (60/90) because (I thought) they are quite smooth already and I am afraid the eye layer is not deep enough to survive in step 1. Some polishes fine on the agate area but the eyes don't polish: Some of them only slightly polish on the dark grown orbs, but not anywhere else: Some polishes fine at one side, but they no longer look like a typical Golden Coin Eye Agate:

This Mongolian one is more agatized, but I can't save its back side: Some random close-ups: To be fair, they are not uglier than their raw form, but maybe I should tumble rocks like these in a soft rock run to see if I could get a better result.

That second Botswana is kind of trippy, I really like it.
Enjoying your progress and variety of material.
You are right about the Berber, I'm using them the same way. Similar to what Brent does with his Lakers. just use showy filler instead of ceramics.

Next up is a bowl of Mexican Crazy Laces from three sources: This one is from the very reputable rockshed: I love the Crazy Laces from rockshed. Due to their crushed irregular shapes and fractures, they usually take very long in step 1, and are reduced to much smaller before I give up on fracture-free, but once I overcome that perfectionist mindset, they end up being super charming.

These two are from the very nice roughs I cut from RTH purchases. It was the first time I used the slab and saw from the local rock club. I still have too many to cut, but since I learned how slow and loud a slab machine works, I have procrastinated.
