Hi. I'm hoping someone out there can help me or point me in the right direction at least. Around 5 years ago, I bought my daughter a Rolling Stones Rock Tumber made by Natural Science Industries, LTD. She quit using it after a few months and I stored it away. A couple a months ago, my nephew started getting interested in collecting rocks and I remembered about me storing the rock tumbler. I found it and everything that goes with it - except for the instructions/user's manual. If anyone could point me in the direction of where I might could purchase a manual or view one in pdf form on the internet or anything of that nature, please do so. Thanks a bunch for looking/helping! Holly

Welcome to the board!
I don't know where you can get a users manual, but I do remember the measurements...
2oz of stage 1 grit 2oz of stage 2 grit 1oz of polish
Don't put more then 8oz of rocks in your barrel... Stage one lasts for 7 days Stage 2 lasts for 9 days Stage 3 lasts for 5 days
Be sure to wash your barrel throughly between each stage.

Thank you! Thank you! That's pretty much all I needed anyway. Thanks again for the quick response.

Hi, RS -
Our first tumbler was that exact tumbler & I still have the instructions that came with it. Let me know if you'd like a copy. The tumbler was purchased the end of last Summer & the directions are only 4 pages long.
Welcome aboard!

We bought a used Rock Tumbler a few years ago, it is also Rolling Stone. With no directions. I used Rocktumbler.com to learn a lot but I still couldn't find how much of each for this toy. Thank you a bunch... my daughter it going to have a blast showing off her rock tumbler at school... we only have time to do the first phase but still way cool... thanks!!

Greetings from Scotland!
The only problem is your stones will not be perfectly polished as they will most likely have defects due to not being in stage 1 long enough, some soft rocks can be done in a week, however Quartz and Chalcedony wont be ready for minimum 25 days with a clean out and reload every 5 days in stage 1: Fixed 80 (60/90) Silicon Carbide grit, some pieces may be in stage 1: for months and some pieces will never be done whatsoever!
