If a tree flies in the forest do you make a sound? Answer: I would clap very loudly so that Stephen Stills would know that I am a fan of his song 'Treetop Flier.' Condor

KD Answer: For the same reason that when you stand in line at Wal-Mart it's always the slowest moving one. It's a conspiracy. Condor

Isn't it amazing that I post my 4000's post here in this great thread, which was bumped due to a post of mine in a thread where you celebrated 2000 posts? A bit too many "posts" in the previous sentence, not mentionning my 4000 posts, is it? Adrian

Hah! I knowed all along the Wal-mart line thing was a conspiracy!!!! Thanks Gil! Now, what are your thoughts on the whole man on the moon thing. I swear I was once rock collecting on the desert and found a spot that , if you used the right color filter, exactly looked like where those guys said the Lunar Lander landed. Was a surfboard in a tree near there too. Great flood/ tidal wave surfin conspiracy? Still scratching my head on that one *LOL*.....Mel

I beseech thee, oh Great Condor: How come everybody talks about the weather, but nobody ever does anything about it? Chuck Answer: Because the weather is all underground and everyone knows that you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. Condor

Thank you, Condor! And now the pump don't work 'cause the vandals took the handle.
And now for my next question, an obscure Letterman reference: What is it and how can it be cured?

Why is it that last week when it warmed up to 50 degrees, I relished the good weather. And today, when it is topping out at 50 degrees, I'm still cold?
