Also known as "Royal Aztec" or "Royal Purple Lace" agate, this material is usually seen as very thin seam sections and is from Durango, Mexico. There is another agate, nodular in form and sometimes bearing dendrites that is sold under the names "Aztec Purple" or "Royal Purple" agate. It's not banded and not nearly as nice. Note: The Royal Purple Aztec Lace has fugitive color. Long exposure to sunlight will make it fade.

wampidytoo: I truly do not understand cooking. Over three minutes in the micro gets me impatient. I am of the "instantly is not fast enough" crowd. I love grapes and cheese but it takes too long to cut up the cheese and remove grape stems.
