There is a piece of rough listed with Western Oregon lapidary Source on E-Bay that looks identical to this piece but it is called / refered to as Polychrome Jasper from Madagascar. The piece Dave has up has some colors running through it.
snowmom: Pat caramel is my favorite, no butter would be a major bummer. I'd forgotten but my grandma always made peanut brittle to give as gifts at Christmas time, we helped her do that and also made taffy (ever pull taffy?)

wampidy: High of about 10 today with 20 mph winds and up to 28 mph gusts. I was up from 1:30 to 2:30 am stuffing holes to cut down on the drafts. Had to cover the entire bottom of the range hood with the foam flooring. Can you say "wind tunnel"?
