Nancy, I like how you did the top of that wrap. Its decorative and yet doesnt cover the stone.
Jeremy,
I just started doing these prongs off of a diagram tutorial Ive had saved since last year. They are really simple to do and I like using them as it allows you to keep the wrap simple and show off the stone.
I will try to find the diagram again if you are interested.

That's literally the king of wraps, with that crown above! Very elegant and classy!

Thanks yal'll! Having bail pliers really helped to get that crown just right. In all the years I've been wrapping, I haven't done a crown before...infact, I don't think I've ever done a pendant the same ever. I've done hundreds of pendants too...that really amazes me sometimes...how many ways you can make em. ;D

Thanks you all! The cab is 37 x 25...perfect size! ;D
When making prongs, it is imperative that you use flat nose pliers and always use the very tip of them. Different sizes of pliers helps, cause you can make small prongs, medium and large ones. 2 of mine are cheapos...and the middle one are Lindstroms.

Thats a killer cab because once again it is a "Stoner" cab. Sorry Nancy if you thought I cut that, when I said I would send my best cabs, I meant it. Most of my very best cabs came from the one and only......it is a beauty! Thank you Ed!

Thanks Roxy! Enhancers have a clip like in back instead of a solid closed bail...this allows the pendant to be added to beaded necklaces by "clipping" onto it. Dang Jaime...sorry about that. From now on...I'll just say from you, but might be Ed's work. ;D I know you do cabs...and I love all my cabs I got from you.

Hi Nancy: I know the larger cabs are easier to wire wrap but just how small can the cabs be before it becomes almost impossible to do it? There's probably some techniques that may allow one to wrap smaller cabs then others but in this case I'm referring to the technique used on this boulder opal or koroit. Keep posting these works of art. I'm sure they're inspirational to a few people. (ME included) ;D ;D Steve

I can get really tiny with prong set stones...down to 8 x 8mm as a matter of fact. Prongs are fabulous for all kinds of things. However, it takes patience and practice to get them just right. They are not easy when it comes to perfection. lol ...and I am a perfectionist! ack.... You CANNOT rush making prongs! You gently tap them into shape...do NOT try and smuch them buggers or you will have marks all over the place and a misshapped prong.
