To calculate how much oil, measure the inside dimensions: length, width and depth to just touch the blade. Multiply them all together to get cubic feet, then multiply that by 7.5 gal/cu-ft to calculate how many gallons. After you stop gasping (something like 47 gallons if I recall correctly), consider filling the bottom of the saw with bricks so that you only need ~18 gallons. Problem will be how to clean out the saw later - I haven't figured that one out yet. I used something like 70 bricks in my (basically identical) 24" HP saw.
