All,
This board is here to discuss rock tumbling - because of the number of posts in the general board, it was thought by many that the posts were disappearing too fast.
Cheers Mark

Here are two site`s i have used. imageshack.com
Though this one is the best of the two Picasa2 , and the up-load time is great for other PC`s to down-load from your file postings.
the picasa photo base is by far the best on the web-to host photo`s and to have a base storage on your PC and to be able to link to E-mail`s, forums, and to send general photos in file jpeg, zip, and to re size from camera, up-loading from camera fast to.
the working the site is easy too.
and this is coming from a kid that started with a PC in 1999, and thought he could go through life with out the need of one,
When i started a web-site to post material of my rock hunting of the past 37 years pre-1999. digital camera were just getting started . out of price for me.
with yahoo went Flicer ( Sp ) and Picasa2 is Google Photo Base.
If you use this one you need to be signed in to host on line, Just saying , Because i was not signed in and ...bugthe blank out of me.

Just got a rather large amount of aluminum oxide grit made available to me. The industry normally use this for blasting metal parts. Can anyone tell me if this stuff could be used for polishing stones??

Nope!
You are filling this in nicely. Lots of good information. You must have WAY more free time than I seem to lately!
Good job. Be nice if even a small percentage of folks saw this.
