Texaswoodie: "The late Robert Heilbroner – a socialist for most of his life – admitted after the collapse of the Iron Curtain that socialism was the tragic failure of the twentieth century."
And it only took eight years worth of the 21st to flush free-market capitalism down the toilet.
After all . . . "Greed is goooood."

Curt, I'm beginning to get a feeling that you don't like socialism. Its just a gut feeling, I don't really see any concrete evidence. Can you please tell me if you like it or not? lol I'm voting libertarian so to me YOU are a socialist. lol As I've said before the dems want to tax me and give to those less fortunate and repubs want to tax me and give it to those more fortunate. Either way the party who wins has their sights set on me.

Parfive Yep and so is selling your soul to the government, to a system that has already been proven to be even more devastating than Capitalism.
Tony Whatever gave you that idea? ;D I'm with ya man, but unfortunately your idea hasn't come to fruit yet. And you have to admit Socialistic Socialism is worse than Capitalistic Socialism. ;D
When your party gains enough momentum to be a serious contender, I'm right there with you. Until then, I'm voting for the next best thing.
Curt

Curt isn't capitalistic socialism an oxymoron? To me there is no difference if the government gives my tax dollars to someone who will spend it on drugs or to a person who will spend it on a Mercedes. Either way I'm supporting their habit and the money is leaving our country. Of course it leaves it if they buy clothes at Wal-Mart or buy a Chevy too.
The only way the Libertarian, or any other third party, can gain that ground is if people like you decide to follow your ideals rather than compromise them and just vote for the worse of two evils.
