Excellent material! Wow! The first poppy is definitely Hornitos. I even know the exact hole it came from *L*. The unknown above the rhodonite is definitely petrified palm root, a super cool example too. Don't see much of that quality and color anymore. The orby stuff against the hematite background, wow. A hematite mixed poppy variety occurs at Hornitos but I haven't seen anything exactly like that one....Mel

I love the first unknown (Photo 3). If you look closely, you will notice that its orange slices floating in a punch bowl. And there is one fish, a grouper, I think.

You see where your post has been read 87 times so far? Well at least 50 are from me. I was speechless the first 49 times. I think Crayola should create a new red and call it Morgan Hill. Boy is that vibrant. The Chrysy and Varisite just blows me away.

I'm drooling over the chrysocolla! All that I have seems to fracture or not polish. That looks like it has great potential. Wanna trade for some agatized coral or .......? Susan

As soon as I saw the palm root I knew it was palm. Then thought no way but it has to be. That is some really nice palm root. I'm just a fool for palm and the others are great also.

I'm thrilled I have teezed all of you. It sounds like I'm fishing for a cheap thrill or something. ;D Darryl...that's a great description. I see the orange slices and the fish. Lori...that is probably one of the most vibrant Morgan Hill I've seen. It seems like the Palm Root is everyones fav. Whoever reads this....shameless plug for my e-bay. Clay Canyon, Morgan Hill, some AWESOME Cocoxenite in Amethyst slices, and a few other goodies on e-bay. rockminer0 Steve

Dang nice stuff Steve. That first piece of chrysocolla looks so gemmy, more like gem silica. I love that palm root. I've got two big chunks sitting in my basement that I need to send out to someone to get cut. I should do that tonight.
