I know what you mean Dan. I need grit for tumblers, wheels for genie, blade and oil for my saw..but I just keep buying more and more rock. I haven;t figured it out yet! ;D What a huge variety of colors you can find in Dino Bone. Really neat cell structure too. Here's a few that I decided to add. Enjoy. Steve

Dan, To answer that question...my Halloween Competition cab came from the fortification slab. I have one other endcut from it that would look better polished as a speciman. There are a few fractures around the fortification that would really have to be worked around to do a cabochon, making it a little difficult. Steve

A have a bunch of dino bone,but its the gray colors,not much of a polish...........I usually hand it out to the kids when they realize its dino bone.........

looks like you did good on ebay........... wow lots of nice dino bone. I'm waiting til i go to quartzsite to find some like i did last yr.

You must have gone to the Topeka show. I managed to get there Sunday with the family and we enjoyed it a lot. You found the best bone slabs there I'm thinking!
