Yes i got to 37 - the thing is I was convinced I was 38 - so when mom and pop told me I was 37 I felt I'd got another year I got the adding up wrong. So today - I congratulate myself on yet another year in which I fail to reach 40. Now how chilled is that?

Happy Birthday Mark!
I don't celebrate my Birthdays, so I really don't make a note as to how old I am, or how old I just turned. I find myself doing the math when someone asks how old I am sometimes. LOL

Things like that happen as you get older!
I used to say I was a permanent 39 like Jack Benny, but then people started saying Jack who... ;D
Happy Birthday!!!!!

Happy Birthday Mark, hope your day was absolutely awesome. You're just a few months older than my son, yeah, still a young pup. When I got to 39, I started counting backwards. It worked for awhile but not anymore. *smile*

I too have to do some math when I have a birthday. Trouble is, I'm starting to have difficulty with the math! Augh! Happy birthday.

I think I get mixed up when it comes to the first year - was I "1" or was I "0" at some point - thats where it gets me every time. Tweetie - do you mean on the site by "birthday bunch" - I saw my name on it at some point yesterday and thought it was cool I shared the same day with two others. Haha after a night on the town I cannot remember who has the same bday - "raptor" was in the name tho. Cher - if I could count backwards I would - - I cant even count forwards properly sometimes - the counting of the members and who is M and F the other day took me about 2 hours - grim or what? Thats the trouble with being a programmer - you can get a machine to do the math but god dam cant do it yourself Hey there rockygibralter - I dont moderate - thats why its cooool and smooooooooooth - you guys do the duffers that visit here over between you mostly Hey Susan - thanks - I hope to land a couple more yet - and theres 2 more to go before the big 40 comes along to boot Alice - not sure I celebrate the birthdays either - but it seems to be a good excuse for a night out on chinese food and good beer (BTW - I snapped the "S" off my keyholder on the sanding drum - I pressed too hard - after all that dam work on the scroll saw too - will get back to it tho ) Chinook - 29 is definately nice - probably the first year I actually got starting thinking about how old I was was 30. Yes when I hit 30 that was the worst I reckon. Staying 29 is definately a good deal

Hey there BikerRandy I hear "life begins at 40" - thats what I hear anyway.- I can believe it actually when I think about it. if all goes well with the new kiddo - then I can start re-living it all again. Making stuff for the little one - making sure its ok and happy etc etc...... Looking forward to it all.

LOL - I "wish" bikerrandy - all the chrome and such......... I watch Natg on the Hotrod builds - not tooooooo keen on them - but storming stuff during the building. (Engine probs - bodywork not fitting the chassis, daft staff that dont know left from right, paintwork issues and smoooooothnes probs - I totally like watching about them being built. The other day there was an unpainted Hotrod being built and taken over the "salt flats" I cannot remember where exactly. Anyways the dude had no oil pressure in a new built hotrod - he had to get the engine manufacturer in and strip the whole thing down. Turns out the oil pickup was too low - they bent it a bit and all was cool - it started to pick up the oil and they ripped it over the salt falts. The guy who was the passenger had an accident a bit earlier (maybe a couple of years) and had to have his face rebuilt due to the crash in testing the new hotrod. Anyways Im a waffling. Yes - a bike would be nice - VERY NICE. I would take it over Kinder Scout - theres two roads there to warrant it alone. For now tho - its kiddie on the way and a convertible will have to do.
