I made my own light box last night, wanting to take better pics of my cabs and wraps. I found a crappy plastic ice bucket that I stole from a hotel once upon a time, cut a square out of one side, put a penny weight nail through the other side, put a piece of white paper down to set the bucket on top of, hung a couple lights around the outside and lo and behold I had a working light box. I use the flat end of the nail and some double sided 3m mounting tape to suspend the cab inside the box. Here's some pics. works well enough, just need to figure out making the white balance consistent. Might put some paper in the back for a more even background too. I bet any milky white plastic bucket would work for this.

Nice pics, and the light box was cheap too!

Thanks stoner. A few bits of rubbish and you've got a serviceable light box. who'd of thought it would be so easy?
