I recently bought items from several folks on e-bay. Three vendors that stick out for price, helpfulness, cost of and combining shipping and communication were: duck83311, stone clouds, cole5774 (The Wyoming Rock Shop), opalite_one (Oregon Rockshop) and 917jfs. 917jfs stood out in particular. He sends me a message a day or two after completing the transaction saying that he was taking a couple of dollars off the price because he found a crack that wasn't visible or listed in the description. All of these folks were really friendly and helpful. They had great rough and slabs too!
These darn rocks will be my eventual undoing. My wife says I'm obsessed.

rockpickerforever: Diane, it's not the sinuses, the fumes make you gag and your throat burn. Trying to be considerate of poor, sick Lucy. Diane, you just don't know what you're missin. And yes, considering what it costs to live here, 40 degrees IS damn cold, lol.

rockpickerforever: Fossilman, that jalapeno jelly came out smokin' hot, the hottest batch yet. Close to being too hot, maybe?? The jalapenos give it that great flavor, add about ten Hot Black Cobra chilies for heat. Need to eat it with something to avoid stomach ulcers.

snowmom: Pat caramel is my favorite, no butter would be a major bummer. I'd forgotten but my grandma always made peanut brittle to give as gifts at Christmas time, we helped her do that and also made taffy (ever pull taffy?)
