I saw this on a web site called Instructables. Take a folding hamper: Wrap it with white bag, I used a blanket bag but I think a white trash bag would have been as good: And Ta-Da: I took a couple of pictures but too much reflection from the open end, ya gotta use this in a darkened room: All I need now are some portable lights with the right type bulbs, as soon as I find out what are the most color correct bulbs.

I have seen complete set ups with lights, light stands, 5600K floressent photo bulbs with reflectors and tripod for camera oh and the 30" x 30" light tent with backgrounds for under $69.00 complete with a travel case. I was going to go the DIY way but when I added up the cost of bulbs, reflectors, stands, tripod and so on it didn't pay. Stu

I've got tripods but now I'm in the hole for 16 bits so I'm commited to this set up.

Hey Stu, Where did you see that setup at ? I'm in bad need of a light box and lights. I have a good sturdy tripod already. Don

Hi Carloscinko, If you are commited to making your own light box as you said you are than leave the laundry hamper in the laundry and try this. I found these instructions for a simple light box and found them to be very easy to follow. Keep in mind that the key to good results requires a good light source, bulbs and reflectors. Good luck Stu Here is a link for a DIY light box www.instructables.com/id/Super-Simple-Light-Tent/#step1
