I've been cutting & wrapping a lot. I have a show this weekend - The Groovefest American Music Festival here in Cedar City, UT - groovacious.com/wordpress/?page_id=1284Here are 7 new wraps. If I have time, I'll post some of my Indian Blanket jasper pendants in the cabs section tomorrow. Sorry about the focus. I was too lazy to use a tripod. Indian Blanket Jasper in SS Turquoise in SS. These 2 are teeny. This one's got a little metal in the stone. Silver, maybe? Fancy Jasper from India. One of the coolest pieces of FJ I've ever seen. Mexican Thunder Egg. Each cross section of this sweet potato shaped TE has this agate core. Morgan Hill Poppy jasper in 14k GF. Bought this from Gino who's son runs El Torro Brewing Co. in Morgan Hill, CA. It took me almost a year to get around to cabbing it. This stuff has lots of little fractures. ;>( Snowflake Obsidian from north of Milford, UT. Still waiting for inspiration for the twirlies. Thanks for looking. Lynn

These were a treat to see. You do a very deliberate, sophisticated wrap. My fav is the first one. Jo

Those are all awesome, Lynn! I think my fav is the first one, the Indian Blanket Jasper.
Twirlies - is that the technical name? lol! Keep up the great work, and best wishes at your show. Jean

Note to self: study this work for precision and technique next time you think about "knocking one off", I am a fan of letting the stone do the shining

Dude, those are ugly! Especially that nasty indian blanket stuff.
Awesome work as usual Lynn. bring the wires on the obsidian wrap down over to the side in the same direction that the flakes are falling and finish them off.

Thanks all for the good words.
Jean - Yes, twirlies is the OFFICIAL term, unless you use the other official term - curlies. Just watch out for giggling Brits who might think you're talking about short & curlies.

Wow! They are all great, stones and wraps. I was really amazed by your great pictures and then read you didn't use a tripod! What a steady hand! They look awesome.

Groovefest was a great success. I sold the first 3 & the Mexican Thunder Egg along with one other wrap.
The music was good too (when I had a chance to pay attention to it).

I must be going crazy, I've been on here every day and never saw this thread. That's some awesome work!! I like the first one and #6 the best, not just because of the stone but mainly the shape and the way you wrapped them make them stand out, but those are all amazing

Thanks for the good words. Almost everything I've learned about wrapping, I've learned by looking at the great examples I've seen on RTH.
