I like it ... I think you can only get better at it for trying...I would wear it .. as a bolo tie, or buckle piece!!

Beautiful.
5minute epoxy. Warm both the epoxy and the pieces and yes, use wax paper, if you don't use it with a quartz cap.
Gvreat job,
Tammy

That's a beautiful piece. I like the idea that it flashes at all different angles, that way no matter how you look at it its got some flash. Its a really cool idea and I'll have to give it a try. I've never had epoxy undercut on me but I use more CA than epoxy.

Wow thanks everybody!! Appreciate it.
Will try the wax paper thing on the next one, and I also REALLY like the idea of the quartz cap, great idea - no undercutting problem then. Maybe the epoxy undercut bc I got it too hot. Interesting. I'll definitely be making more of this general type!
Just one question - Tammy, what does the warming do? And what would be the specifics of how to warm it? I'm working at about 70 degrees. Should I warm it up like on a warmer plate? Is that to help the adhesion?
Oh, does anybody know were I can get quartz caps already pre-fabbed? I have some optical quartz, but not super confident in my ability to slab it that thin yet.
Thanks again all. :-)
