I plan on going, probably on Saturday. I always find some killer stuff at great prices at this show! Someday, would love to be able to take our trailer up and stay all three days. Campfire, karaoke - it doesn't get any better than this!

The Vista spring show is also one of my favorites. Last year I met Christopher for the first time as well as many others. Unfortunately, I'm iffy for next weekend as I'm just a week out of the hospital for my total knee replacement. Might still be too tender to walk that far from the car. We'll see. If I don't make it, be sure to post pictures of all the goodies I missed...lol!!!

Having missed the Stoddard Wells Show, I might try and talk my family into going to this show. Thanks for the heads up. Paul

Back from the Vista show, had a blast! Went with barclay and the Beemans (they were in Qz, went on the field trips, but couldn't stay for the BBQ). We left barclay's at 8:30 this morning, got home around 4:30. Walked A LOT, now have to go walk the dog before I can take a break and open my backpack to see what all I got. (Almost 13 lbs worth of goodies!)
Saw Christopher and family (let me know how you like those avos, Chris ) , also Paul Shiroma and family. And the ubiquitous fish was there as well! Got to visit and talk with them, it was fun.
Will post pics (in a new thread) of the spoils as soon as I can. Most expensive thing I bought was a 3" (?) sphere of petrified wood for $10. Picked up LOTS of slabs, and a few pieces of interesting rough. I'd tell you what kid, but until I go through the pack, I really don't remember! Will try not to make you wait too long...
Chris and Dan, good seeing you again. Great to meet you, Paul, your lovely wife, the boys and their grandma. (Hope the boys weren't too bored.)

Don't have pics of the finds yet (will start a new thread when I do), but here's a few of smiling faces:
This is Christopher's storefront palace on wheels
Doing bidness
Christopher and Lori. Like I said, smiling faces! Notice anything missing in these photos? No boys! They were being kept busy elsewhere at the moment. No wonder they were smiling!
Got to meet Paul Shiroma and family. It was a pleasure, Paul.
And had a visit with fish again. If you want to find Dan, just look for this sign!
And the face behind the name.
Some of fish's offerings. Rose quartz, obsidian and lots of agates. Really did like that interesting brown obsidian, never seen that before. The big chunk of Rainbow ledge was nice, too! Paul got a big chunk of something from him, but I forget what it was.
If ya didn't make it there, ya missed out!

That is just the way it goes sometimes fish....lol nice to see you again and yeah that obsidian was very interesting and unusual.
The avacodos were very tasty Jean. Lori added them to one of her killer salads.
Paul it was a pleasure getting to visit with you and your family again.
I hope we get to see you all again real soon. We are going to try and do more shows this year. Maybe Trona.....
