Thanks pal I already epoxied the wing back together it will be a good fix
in the meantime I'm grinding some old hearts I made a couple years ago for just a catastrophe
hate to have sunlight and nothing to polish plus too tired to craft up a new heart
I'll keep ya in mind are those tumbled garnets?

I don't have a saw or anything but I think a few of those would be a nice piece sawed into slices and polished on the flat sides? or maybe for you to work with cabbing? they are big stones

Don't they say that broken hearts are always stronger after mending?

Ouch, but can happen from time to time. Love that you seem to be recently using very strong contrasting colors. Best regards, Kurt

Howdy Kurt ! what is amazing on the birthstone heart (which seem to me -it was stomped on...mpst;y) is that the epoxy joint held amazing!

Yeah, that first one will recover. The other one, though, IDK... Can you put Humpty Dumpty back together again? Funny that something as hard as a rock will just fall to pieces when dropped on the floor.
Or maybe I should have picked "I Fall to Pieces" by Patsy Cline?
Don't ya just hate it when your plan for the day falls through? Tomorrow's another day, mr.mohs!

Yeah rock picker. I learned on a tv show they where looking for rubies, and trying to get them out with jackhammers.....but hard means brittle..so no rock is bullet proof I took from that message

Ah, Ed! Your heart may be fragile, but it is tough, too.

Thanks everyone! Yep! Rock'n hearts take a beating & keep on pumping another motto Here’s one I’m finishing I put it together a couple seasons ago Not sure why I chose this combo ‘cept it was the end of the season and I just put together some stones real fast to have a reserve stock used E-6000 mazing stuff It Far from finished But I’m real pleased with how it shining up & Think I can shape it up good enough To be a funky free rock’n heart for the Heart concert Mostly
