I can't believe how cool your agates are. That last one is so different on the front and the back. I didn't know you could have fortification on one side with eyes on the other. Very cool!

I love how they are perfectly imperfect.
By that I mean that not trying to tumble past some of pits has made a beautiful stone. Myself, I always seem to try to tumble every piece into submission.
The last agate is truly remarkable, although my favorite is the pair in pic #5. Super job, thanks for sharing your finds

They look alien in nature, definitely different than what I've ever seen before. Very cool, last one is my favorite.

Agates w/eyes are special. Those are great examples. And the fortifications are fine. Thanks for sharing your finds.

Some rocks I will tumble til I remove every imperfection but for some of these I simply cannot. For example the last one's eyes were starting to pop out! On the larger ones, I concentrate on achieving a nice polished face. Another batch is currently polishing so more to come soon.

Gorgeous, Ian! I especially like the eye agates and the 7th picture - is that amethyst mixed in the rock? Great job and thanks for sharing

Nice finds! Does anybody else think some of them look remarkably like Lake Superior agates?
