... the word "ROCK" in it!
Original Footage Smothers Brother Comedy Hour 1969
I like this old version the best. Jean

My all time favorite.
But if you liked The Smothers Brothers, you had to like Stan Freeberg.
And then there's always Ray Stevens.

My all time favorite. But if you liked The Smothers Brothers, you had to like Stan Freeberg. Yeah, Don, those are both good, but... Did either one have "ROCK" in it? If so, I missed it
My dad has reel-to-reel tape recordings he made of the original Dr. Demento show when it came out of LA years ago. Yeah, we were big fans of that. And, I am old enough to have enjoyed the Smothers Brothers (and young enough to still remember them, lol!). I even got to see them live at the (used to be called) San Diego Wild Animal Park years ago. I loved their humor!
Fossilman, those are both great ones! I love Steve Miller!
Edit, yeah, Ray Stevens, too! "The Streak" came out when I was in high school, about the time when doing that was popular.

You don't mean this one, do ya ? Yes, Don, that would be the one! Thanks, Floyd. Love anything Stones. And your other song predates my presence on earth by a couple years, lol. Will make the link easier -

Lots of rocks back then.

Few will remember this one, but Bill Haley's sax man Rudy Pompilli cut a single. I used to have this one on a 45 record.
