There was someone at the Franklin show last fall that was selling a bunch of these. If I remember right, she said they were cross sections of a fossilized horse tooth that she polished. Eocene period maybe? Don't quote me on that part.

one inch by one inch and between 1/4 and 3/8" thick. Faced polished. I suppose someone could wear it as a very spooky pendant.
