found this on the beach the other day, pretty sure it is coral, but it had me hoping it was bone due to the shape and form.

It looks like it has a coral texture. Closer photo would help.

I don't see any cell growth D,might be just coral....

I think it probably is coral.... was disappointed when I saw the structure, since the piece itself is suggestive of bone joint at the blunt end. If you double click on the photobucket photos it should bring you to my page, and allow you to blow up the photos... at least when I click on other people's photo bucket photos it allows me to do that. look for the little magnifying glass icon in the right lower corner of the image. Sorry I don't have a camera that does closeups... nor do I have a program for altering photos, though it is about time I got one!

I tried, but had trouble w/cropping it to past file density to blow it up.
