I am replacing the worn out bearings. got a set of 4 from shawn at therockshed. they are grey plastic and too big to fit in the bearing holders. the old ones were white plastic and thinner that the new ones. however the new ones fit nicely on the shafts. I guess I could drill out the space for the bearings but hope to hear from someone who went through this process. thanks, chas

I did one, the bearings original to the machine are: Triangle Mfg. p/n BDN10. Applied Industrial Technologies [formerly Bearings Inc.] charged $3.35 ea., then soaked me for shipping. Talk to your local bearing distributor. Or, if you or a friend is handy with a metal lathe, new inserts can be easily made using some nylon or better plastic. I made a set of new inserts [bearings] to go into the old housings, and used a cut off finishing nail for the anti-rotating pin, left just the head sticking out of the bearing insert. Passed these on to the tumbler owner as spares.

after talking to a lady for lortone, I drilled out the holes so the bearings for the new lortones would fit in. then I mounted a guide for the knurled nut that holds the lid on so it had a guide to keep from rubbing on the chassis. seems to be working. it is running with two 6# lortone barrels. will keep folks informed if the test works. thanks, chas
