Hi Christopher,
Some 40 years ago here in the UK we could buy this type of material for tumbling. It was simply called Mexican Crazy Lace.
Sadly those day have gone,

Lynn both are sold already but the oval ia 25.4mm x 17.5mm and the other is 47mm x 23.6mm
