So if you ran that as a wet grinder, would it make a difference? Answering a year later, sorry Mark K. I do dip the stone in water. Greatly reduces dust. Water dripping off wet hand and rock. Wish it were wet, only for dust control. It cuts fast dry, no problem there. Water/no water, it is slow to wear. And reacts well to SIC or ALOX grinding wheel dressings, but not necessary. A shroud to catch the sling off water and all is good. it is run with a large suction fan and a blowing fan. Dust is diverted from breathing.
