There are many things I have wondered "who was the first to do that?"
Whichever Ibex was the first to do that is my hero!
The speaker was speaking Japanese. The subtitles are in what I think is Russian. I am going to guess prolly Mongolia, but could go as far west as Spain. Seems to me we saw similar footage from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler in the 1960's. That is clearly some old footage.

I get ya on the hero point. They probably started on a 10 meter and got cockier.

Makes you wonder ..."how many Ibex died in the making of that movie" Great video Charlie Charlie, I think those animals got big kahunas and strong ass legs. Makes you wonder if they are competitive or born thrill seekers.

And a song to go with it . . . There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's ascending that stairway to heaven.

Now, I have jumped down rock faces and to ridges before myself. I had ate crab cakes the night before and I was dreaming some crazy things. I always seem to dream crazy things after eating crab cakes. They seem so real !

See them goats often in the summer perched on the sides of cliffs that made me wonder how the heck they got there. Makes a little more sense now. Are those more a goat or a sheep? I guess it would be a cousin to the N American goat. Lost in thought, long day. lol Time for bed.
