Is there really a difference between the expensive 8oz of Opticon vs a resin I can pick up at home depot?
Ive had some people tell me they used Epoxy, but not the brand. There are so many choices at the store.... Also said the Epoxy lightened/washed out the color a bit.

The epoxy that they sell at the depot,is not the same it does not harden up enough in my opinion, and that holds true for the two part resin they sell for clock faces, bartops, etc.if you are looking for a larger quantity, the epoxies used in the granite buisiness works very well.but at $95 per gal.its a hard pill to swallow.if you try to fill cracks in a slab or cab with the depot stuff it doesn't polish up well.im no expert by any means but I always try to find a cheaper way.and I tried that one.lol Dave

Hey thanks Dave. Im steadily learning every day, but it seems the Hot Stuff I have will penetrate the undercut but soak in it and not seem to cover over it. I have also stuck my finger to a slab and took about 10minutes of prying to get it loose. Almost thought skin was coming off. No acetone no care
