Dont know if you are aware of this down south. We had a copycat terrorist shoot a soldier standing guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Ottawa, then stormed our house of Parliament but was gunned down inside this morning. Two more soldiers were struck by a car driven by another terrorist on Monday. Looks like this fight is targeting our guys at home. Not a good thing.

I think were starting to make more enemies then friends. Check out Putins newest move. Russia prepares militarization of Arctic MOSCOW, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Russia has begun a large-scale militarization of the Arctic Ocean region, with a military command structure planned by 2017. It comes after recent discoveries of oil and natural gas reserves under the ocean floor, and the possibility a potential Northern Sea Route -- an alternative to the Suez Canal -- could soon be established as global climate change causes melting of Arctic ice. www.upi.com/Top_News/World-News/2014/10/21/Russia-prepares-militarization-of-Arctic/2741413894698/?spt=sec&or=tn

I don't think they will make it passed Alaska. Thanks you USA. If not for our good friends south of the 49th and their first class military we would be speaking Russian now. Due to the liberal idea of down sizing our own military. Just think the Liberals are so against us getting F-35's.

Kudos to the Sgt at Arms in your house of parliament. Like saying goes " Best defense against a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun!" All the dumbass gun control folks should keep that in mind in these dangerous times. Remember, this sort of thing is probably coming to a town near you in the near future......Mel

Things are pretty tight lipped not telling us much accept to be vigilant. I have a feeling they are kicking doors in across the country trying to shut some of these guys down. 3 wounded and one young soldier confirmed deceased.

The Canadian soldier who was shot and killed has been identified as 24-year-old Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. Nathan was a reservist from Hamilton, Ontario and served with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada regiment. Megan Underwood @megunder Follow On Sunday, we asked a very handsome guard for a picture with my friend visiting from Cali - RIP Nathan Cirillo 3:15 PM - 22 Oct 2014

OTTAWA - Who is Michael Zehaf-Bibeau? Was he acting alone? And what was his motive?
The man, reportedly born in 1982, was named as the gunman behind the attacks on Parliament Hill on Wednesday.
He was killed in a gunfight in the hallways of Parliament.
Two U.S. officials told Reuters Zehaf-Bibeau was Canadian born and a convert to Islam.
One of the officials said he was from Quebec.
Whether he was the only attacker in the armed assault that killed one solider, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, and wounded others, is still unknown as police combed Ottawa streets into the evening.
Several witnesses described seeing a man jump from a Toyota Corolla at 9:52 a.m. and run towards the Centre Block.
They described him as dressed in dark blue and black, with a scarf wrapped around his face, carrying a shotgun or some other type of long gun.

Very alarming day and RIP to Nathan, thank God for Kevin. At least I can say the terrorists failed and aren't inducing terror at all among the people, but more bringing Canada together.

If he does not step up to the plate on this one he will continue to prove his disdain for our country and also dear Canadian neighbors.

Just wanted to say "Thank you" for the words of support from me and I'm sure many other Canadians. This kind of crap wont stand with us just as much as it doesnt go over with you all. Just makes us all stronger against extremism. Great feeling to know you have a neighbor with the same morals and values watching your back.

I worked for a Canadian company for 12 years and loved every minute of it. High energy and gutsy folks. I know them well. You ever notice how you are not so concerned if your brother gets his butt kicked, but a dear friend will bring out the absolute worst in you ?? The matter will be handled boldly and bravely by the Canadians. Not worried a bit. That guy best get out of Canada, they will tear his butt up. Better to be a fugitive in the states, Canadians don't play.
