I was feeling the need to make something cool last night so I started digging through boxes of slabs trying to fine one that would be fun to work on. I probably spent more time searching through slabs then I did on the cab but it was worth it when I found this slab that I don't ever remember seeing before. One of my kids must have picked it out at a rock show or rock shop. I don't have any idea what the material is but would love to find out so please help if you can. (it was rather soft to work with) Thanks for looking Chuck

That one popped out of nowhere. The slab was hiding it.

That's really impressive material and cab work. When/if you find out what the material is be sure to let us know.

Love the yellow/gold against the white druzy! Had to do a double take several times between the slab and the finished cab. Amazing transformation!!

Thanks for all the nice comments. too bad nobody had an I.D. Maybe I'll try to get a shot of the original slab wet to help.

How did you keep the pocket clean? That's is awesome Chuck!## Thanks Bill No real trick to keeping it clean. I only used the diamond wheels and stopped at the 8,000 wheel. I would normally go to 14,000 then 50,000 diamond paste on canvas but I was worried that would get gunk in the druzy. Chuck
