" . . . 2200 meters or 6500 ft for our american friends that don't know metric." Correct. The ones that do would’ve said 7200.

It wouldnt be from the frack explosion or hydraulic pumping itself into the shale formation, it would be the recovered waste water that is being pumped back into the empty underground holding caverns. You can only fill it up so much, and you cant squeeze water, it'll force itself into any small crack and can cause these problems from leeching. True? Frac'ing is an industrial process. This industry runs 24/7/365'ish. But the earthquakes happen rarely on an irregular basis. Just like normal earthquakes. Seems to me confirmation bias in those that want to, is putting the blame on frac'ing when in reality, they is just normal stuff.

Muskeg heats up even in - 50 weather. Thats how equipment gets lost. Seen roads that have been driven on all winter sink a truck in a flash. Thats my guess. I found that out the hard way.

We got a call from the kids at the sunstone mine. Yesterday there was a mild quake that made everything fairly loose rattle, no damage. It went on steady for half an hour.

They do seem to be in a cluster. Here is a 3d quake one you might like to try. I like it for spinning the earth around quicker. www.wolton.net/quake.html

That's what they are saying, annoying and just strong enough to make one feel funny, a little unstable. Hopefully a slow release of energy.

Isnt it a shame on how much crap they send back down into these caverns below ground. Here is Arsenic trioxide. 275000 tonnes enough to kill everyone on earth twice. They had to freeze the surrounding ground to keep it from leeching into the water table near Yellowknife.

I put no faith in big oil. Funny how far cell phones have come since the "BRICK", but cars the same old crap. The xl pipeline is a fine example the oil is to dirty for our use. www.factcheck.org/2014/03/pipeline-primer/Mark j Idaho Dirty oil Eh! You do know that the US currently imports as much Venezuela heavy oilsand crude per day as the XL would bring to the heavy oil refineries in the gulf. (FYI its dirtier BTW) Funny we never see protests at the ports when that oil arrives. Just saying. But hey screw an Allie and a friendly nabor to the north. Communist oil is much better Right!! And hey what the does a few dead Americans mean anyway. You can just keep buying oil from the Arabs so they can buy more ways to kill your soldiers. Just saying.

All them tarballs up there and the wizards still had to import forty-three percent of the oil they used last year.

If you could read you would see that I don't want to use oil. We have made no progress in getting away from it,your government is killing for oil not me. That includes both parties and lobbyist. It is not my problem as I will not be leaving any kids behind. Saw it coming...............

owyhee if you don't want to use oil then quit using it. Park your car and then... No electricity, most "alternative" power sources require more petroleum and/or coal than just burning it. No municipal water, them pumps are electric. Oh yeah, the sewage treatment has pumps too. Food might be a problem, but then you could hunt. No firearms of course, lots of oil there, but you can make bows and arrows and spears and clubs and stuff. And then there's shelter... Are you good at lashing and building wigwams with stone tools. Once you do all that it won't be hypocritical to whine about it, but since the internet involves electricity we won't have to hear it, heh heh.

So you have no vision of a world without oil as energy producer. I glad that these folks were not as narrow minded. Tesla Edison Bell The Wright Brothers Babbage Leonardo DaVinci Archimedes I Think you would have been the first one in line to say these guys need to go. In your mind with no vision you cannot see a world other that what is here in front of you..........sad.
