I picked up a Diamond Pacific Pixie second hand and it has a few issues:
1. extremely loud when running. I've been around these before and have never heard one so loud. any ideas what I could check to see why it's so loud when running?
2. spritzer pump doesn't really work, like it's not getting enough pressure, clogged, or both. what can I look at to address this?
Thanks

On the spritzer pump, there should be a painted screw on the top. Remove the screw and put a couple drops of light machine oil in the hole.(3in1 or sewing machine oil). This should fix the problem. If not, you'll probably have to buy a pump rebuild kit from DP.

Thanks Don, had to replace the arbor in my (2nd-hand purchase) Graves CabMate a couple of years ago when the bearings (spindle assembly) went bad. (added: spindle assembly (bearings) and arbor come as one piece for CabMate - hope I got that right...) The machine was very loud when turned on. At first, we thought the belt was too tight, but the noise continued after loosening the belt a tad. May be your best bet to call Diamond Pacific and give them your Pixie's symptoms.

Our Genie started getting louder and I noticed just before the wheels stopped turning, the last couple rotations when I shut it off, the rotation was visibly a little notchy or jerky, and the rotation stopped slightly more suddenly than a "coast to a stop" would. Replaced the bearings and all is well. Bearings $6.50 ea. at local motor shop.
