Found upstream near the park - likley from that zone, but that zone is loaded with all kinds of volcanic activity layered upon other volcanic activity...layers layers layers. All kinds of cool stuff. That piece shined up real nice with all kinds of details, even more with close up inspection via a loupe. Cheers

Yeah Mike, lots of petwood and gravel bars are always changing. Occasionally some unique surprises like this one too. Thumbs up. Cheers.

That is really cool. I've not found anything like that but didn't hunt a lot in that area.

It gets technical in that area.

The first time I hounded that area,I stopped the car in a rest area, next to the Yellowstone River...We locked the car and BOOM! I took off towards the river..LOL No bag (left in car)....I was gone for about 20 minutes,my pockets and hands were full of agates and petwood.LMAO My wife was sitting on a bench "Stewing"!!!!!! She left her purse and book in the car..Keys in purse...LOL She got over it pretty fast...Told me I was like a kid in a candy store..... I always tell her,put keys in pocket, because you never know when you will need them...LOL Especially with me around..................... Dang,I'm droolin' now!!!!! LMAO
