Wow, lots of nice work being posted here, glad to see so many of you posting some great cabs. I've got some more cabs, hope you don't mind. Ocean Jasper-thin slab was backed with jet Nambian Peitersite Chinese Peitersite Marfa Plume Stone Canyon Dino Bone Medicine Bow And I'll end with some Morrisonite. Next time it will be Boulder Opal. Stay tuned!

No two shapes alike. One of a kind rocks and one of a kind shapes. That first ocean jasper cab set the bar pretty high but the rest give it some tough competition. what is jet?

I could be mistaken. I'm guessing it comes from Quebec? I had seen it one time in a rock and gem show if i am thinkn of the right stuff. Not much help to ya. lol

Always great to see your cabs, inspirational. The Stone Canyon colors - wow. All are fine, but that last Morrisonite is AWESOME....Cheers

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME? Did you really think you could just flash pictures of that perfect OJ and Morrisonite and there would be no consequences??? Did you stop to think how sad someone might be that they couldn't actually hold one of them---- esp the OJ? (OK, maybe it is only me who is sad.) For Pete's sake, show some mercy and warn us. (Hey, wanna swap my first born for that OJ?)

Chuck Jet' comes from the French word 'jaiet', the name of a charcoal-like substance, also called 'lignite'. It's very, very black - about as black as black can get.
