The ring bulb in my magnifier burned out and got hot enough to melt the plastic around it. I went in search of a new bulb with no luck. Looked all over for a whole new magnifier and there is none in town either. Did I mention that I live in the stix. I ran across a set of three under the cabinet lights that stirred my brain a little. Did I mention that I hate being without my magnifier. I figure that when I get somewhere to buy a new one these lights will be a good replacement for some of the lighting in my trailer. This is the result. The light is all coming from one side but I can suffer through that. Jim

Go Wampidy, brilliant drive by redneck sniper engineering. Where there is a will there is a way! I would have terrible withdrawal symptoms if I ever lost my magnifier... amazing how quickly we become dependent on certain tools!

You should have put out an all points plea for garage sale parts supply. Some of us keep our eyes open for those lamps at the below $5 price. Puck lights also will generate a lot of heat so don't go out of the shop with those rascal burning. Read us a bulb number and maybe Santa will gift you a OEM replacement. Tom
