I did a road trip to Roy's and picked up a load of rock...We both found some thundereggs in the bunch, that we never seen before.. So as soon as I got my rick saw back together I cut it....Some say it's a "Pony Butte" egg........ Either way I like it...Found three so far,cut two.... Than Don and Bob(Montana Madman)sent me some rock too.......... Some Tee Pee Agate.........Have never cut this stuff before..(Thanks Don) Some red flint..........Will be some great knapping material....Don't have to heat treat it either.. A slab Bob sent,I forgot the name, but its a beauty... My Nephew Bruce, lives in Montana and hunts the Yellowstone River a lot...He usually sends me a box of killer rocks, once a year.. He out did himself this year...He sent me some petwood,Montana moss and Golden Moss agate.. This is the Golden Moss...(three pieces)..

That's a sweet egg you picked up at roy's, Fossilman! Have not ever seen or heard of Pony Butte t-eggs. Had to google them and read that they are found at Richardson's Ranch in Oregon? More, more! Please! Love t-eggs and collecting them. Sure wish we had them around here.

I managed to 'smuggle' the latest t-egg purchase into our home a couple of weeks ago. It's a WFS t-egg that is multi-chambered that I won from @rocks2dust. Rick hasn't seen it (yet). ahem. I'll try to get a pic of it and post it on the forum.

The T-Egg is a definite keeper, but I`m curious to see a slice of the Golden Moss from the Yellowstone River. The translucent agate part looks more blue than clear/white and may make some really nice cabs.
Gitter done!
Darryl.
