A lambs leg? And NOT a tail? You saw the hoof?
I can see tails all day long but a leg? I'm thinking Siamese twin got sheared off. Occam's razor is laughing at me now...

It's been many years since I have messed with gears in any machinery..........We were taught how to count the gear radius in differentials in Mechanic's school, also pulled a few automatic trannys to repair them (hard job..) Did a few jobs in the oilfields in our shop, rebuilding trks with transfer cases and getting them to match on RPM's and gears (Pure headaches)..LOL We built one trk (International 5 ton)from scratch, with a inline six diesel engine with two Manuel transmissions (9 SD)(4 SD) and one transfer case (4 SD) ...........It was used for a Hot Oil Trk..Beefed up the frame with 1/2 inch steel from front to back..Added a drag axle-it was a beast!!! Only one guy knew how to drive it and he was very good at it too......Built for snow and mud, nothing slowed it from going forward,as long as you didn't come to a dead stop(than you were screwed)..LOL
