Wanted to try something new besides squares, ovals , circles ect. So I had this little slab I got from Dan in his slab sell I believe ? So I thought to myself hmm you will be my victim lol so after wearing most of my finger prints off and a few finger nails this is what I ended up with .... Cheers folks !!!

Chuck Haven't thought on what to do with it yet Would be a cool pendant , guess a fella could glue a bail on it ?? I put a few other little slabs aside last night to try a few others of different material .. A small enough tool on a Dremel maybe could groove it ha ha that would be tough.

I was picturing a silver backing plate cut to the same exact shape only slightly larger so you see a bit of the silver around the profile then a bail soldered to that plate. The stone could then be epoxied to the plate. Sure would be a cool piece. Things like that make me want to learn so basic silversmithing. Chuck

Sweet carving braders. Faceted stone next ? Ya know Mr. I have considering a facet machine even before I wanted to get a cabber . Think it would be something fun to learn and with lots of practice material near by why not I have played around with stone and wild angles on cab machine tho but on bigger material ...hmmmm how well could one hold a small gem or stone with tweezers lol:) Btw you get my pm? ?

You obviously have a great 'angularity' brain. I see a facet machine in your future. It sure makes a raw stone valuable. betcha you can get a fine one used and cheap. Bring it on !!
