Beauties all! Backing them really kicks the GY into high gear! Ha, I've been not dead longer than you....last time I was around you were trippin' on Noreena, lol, and now Grave Yard's all you do At least I'm not as fickle as Randy, I'm still in love with Opal, lol..... she completes me. T

They are all in the "WOWWWZERS" category. The black agate really adds to the depth. Have you tried other colors of backing?

Ooooooo! those are purty!
How do you flatten the mating surfaces? flat lap? what stage you take the back of the cab and the surface of the backing to?

DM me if you are thinking of selling any of these. I'll leave you a note in your box too, I don't know where is the best place to ask.

I forgot that I posted these. lol......Thanks for the kind words!! Tony W- I think that fickle comes with age, and I think you might be older than me. Grizman- I've also done these in red jasper, lapis, reconstituted turquoise, and white agate Radio- I cut all of my own slabs, they are straight enough to polish the mating surfaces on the Genie (not too much though, better adhesion with a slight scuff) Peachfront- sent message
