Do they all really go from 280 to 600 with no 320 or 400 in between? Will it be better that I have 320 and 400 to take out my 220 scratches before the 600?
What do y'all do who have genies and pixies just jump from 220/280-600?
Not that I finally have a 1200 and 3000 I'll start posting some work being done.

I've often wondered that myself. To make up for it I have a 2 wheel arbor with Expandos. A 320 belt on one side, and a worn out 600 on the other.

The 280 is where all facets (hard edges left by the galaxy wheels) get smoothed out and I feel like the 280 is also my most important wheel for scratch removal so I spend the most time there. Chuck

I have had no problems going from 220 to 280 to 600. Since DP uses the same sequence on all their machines (and have done so for last 15 years or so) I'm guessing it works for most people. The closer to shaped at 220 the less wear on the 280 but it always is first wheel to wear out
