Having trouble posting pics to a PM, So here's the info you asked for. The lift arm is made of 1/2" OD aluminum tubing, total length 2-1/4", bent 22 degrees at the half way point. The tricky part is going to be flattening the end while keeping it centered. The flat area is 7/8" with a 1/8" hole centered 3/8" in from the end. The pivot is nothing but a 1/8" cotter pin, 1-1/2" long. Hope this helps.

Don you said the total length is 2.25 invhes. Did you mean 2.25 inches to the bend? If so what is the total length?

OOPS ! My Bad. The length of the flattened end to the center of the bend is 2-1/4". The other end minus the plastic end plug is 2", but could be made longer for more leverage. --- Should add that the flattened end is 1/8" thick after flattening.
Sorry for the bum info. Hadn't started my 2nd pot of coffee yet.
Don

Ok thats great Don! Just sent your slabs and rough in the mail. Check your Pm gor the tracking number. The slabs are for the Owhyee Picture Jasper thread. They sre, Monarch, Nyssa Pink Plume, and Either Cripple Creek or Windy Ridge. I tried to saw and orient it to get orbs but didn't get the angle correct. Hey I am a new at slabbing. The rough is Green Banded Ryolite from Quinn Pass on Plomosa Rd north of Quartzsite Az. The Chipboard Ryolite is from south of Brenda on the Quartzsite Gem Clubs claim. The Pastelite Agate is from Palo Verde Ca. in the Wiley Wells district. It's various shades of blue mixed with a pink peach shades. It doesn't pop with true color until you cab it. It's really cool because this comes from a solid agate chimney about 75 feet tall and 100 feet wide sticking up out of the desert! You just crawl up on it and start chiselling away. Enjoy the rocks!
