When Jan gingerkid sent the mystery machine to me she included some 800 grit, 3 inch, velcro backed sanding pads that just had to be used for something. Perfect fit and timing because I had started some malachite beads but needed something to go between my 100 soft wheel and my 3000 soft wheel. I cut a round out of a piece of 1/4" wood, coated it with clear fingernail polish (GGAAAAA, do not do this, I thought I was going to die and I could not open the windows because it was raining)(HEY, it was handy okay) So, the next morning when all was dry I screwed the 5/8" thingy to one side and stuck some industrial velcro to the other. Put the thingy on my roundy round machine and away we went. Looks pretty small in the big tub but it works slick as butter. I made a video of it in action but it was taking so long to upload I would have been an old man before it finished so I will just say "thanks gingerkid, it works super-duper). Jim

Love your new flat lap, @wampidy, and that you are able to use the polishing pads for your malachite beads (and welos?).
