Cool video. Reminds me of my trucker friend Bob / mtmadman. Wherever he's at, he collects rocks in his down time. No young kids to share them with, so he shares them with rockhound friends along his travel route.

Way cool. There is a trucker either on here or the other forum that stops all over and gets his daughter rocks! He is having trouble finding the exit for turritella sgate, I just read it the other day. Of course I sometimes think my dog can levitate too! LOL

Liking that video....Reminded me of my granddaughter at three years old-riding the train from Oregon to ND to see us,with her Mom..She found a regular rock on her travels and gave it to me... It's dated and signed....My most prized rock!

Definitely an inspirational video and hats off to Wells Fargo for promoting rock hounding.
The unfortunate truth in my province is that the average age of a truck driver is about 57 and there is no down time to collect rocks. Economics have pushed the drivers so hard that they are forced to drive to the brink of exhaustion. It's alleged that a number of truck roll overs are the result of falling asleep at the wheel. Of course they are reported as collision avoidance in an effort to avoid hitting a moose on the highway, so the true statistics may never be known.
