Despite being quartzite, i'm really liking this piece. This picture shown wet, is coming along quite nice...even with the fracture down the middle. I have a feeling it's going to have a nice polish. (I hope. LOL)

Very nice piece of quartzite and love your backlit shot of the big tumble, Henry! Any chance you'll be making your cabbing machine purchase soon?

It's going to be a while before I get that cabbing machine. Although there is a perfect set-up area in my moms basement,

We all get fractures, even in our good pieces, yours is fine! I love the backlight.

Thanks everyone. I know quartzite is near the bottom of the rockhounder's desirability list...but I really like the color and texture. My East Bay Chalcedony and Cumbrian flint are doing really well!(both re-tumbles)
