I've taken out several books from the library and searched the internet extensively, but I need rock and mineral enthusiasts and experts for these! I have a few more, but I don't want to dump all of them on you! Some I have no idea, others, I can't tell what variety the specimen is. I appreciate your help! I suspect this is Dumortierite. It looks nothing like my lapis lazuli and doesn't contain the calcite most of my sodalite have banding of. There are shiny black areas I tried to capture: This appears to be quartz of some kind. Citrine? Sunstone? Not sure about this one. I'm not terribly familiar with this sort of mineral. Not sure! The coloration and waxy lustre throws me off! Tourmaline? This could be a number of things. Maybe even just granite? It has a lilic hue to it. If you recognize any of these, I'd love to know. I have so many that are really stumping me and I don't know their origin.

my guess is #3 cinnabar, #4 bloodstone, and #5 lepidolite Cinnabar! That new to me, thank you! Isn't bloodstained usually opaque? This looks like waxy candy lol. Low quality lepidolite? Do you think? That would be awesome! Thank you!

Blue one is Brazilian sodalite. Agree on lepidolite for the last one. Yellow one may be yellow aventurine quartz or just a nice yellow quartzite. Green a brown one looks like Gem Hill agate from Commiefornia but there is similar stuff from India too....Mel

So many possibilities! I have this cabochon that perhaps can be identified for me as well. It was sold as "kiwi stone" but it is clearly not kiwi jasper which is much lighter and spotted. I was thinking some other type of green jasper or chalcedony. Does anyone know? natural light torch

Not sure about the id of the cab in your pendant, dazzlings, but it kinda looks like Fancy Jasper in your 1st photo (has more colors than Bloodstone jasper).

If the yellow is soft like the purple lepidolite it might be the yellow variation of it. Just seen some in Keystone SD where it is mined.
