I mentioned to jamesp that rockpowell, bigfoot and I were headed for the hills Monday morning. Here is a section of the road we took to "Gee." We visited one of the neighbors. My third of the haul. We left at 1:00pm and filled up at the Chinese buffet by Lynn's grocery store in the center of Cedar City.

Good for you, Dave. Looks like a nice haul and you may have left a few. Warm down there this week?

Looks like a young Great Basin rattler. What part of the state were you? Can I see the full sized image?

Red volcanic cinders filled with agate and jasper - MOSTLY. No idea how many relatives the little "snattle rake" has.

Gee, very cryptic of you. I wish I knew where the location is. Looks like Holt to me. Probably near there, right? Lynn (& it's not my grocery, it's Lin's)
