The only song I like by KISS...... Come on, Fossilman, they had at least a couple more worth hearing. Well maybe, but not those two.... I'm a music collector, with over 10,000 pieces of music and not one KISS album, CD, 8-Track or download.. For some reason I could never stand the lead singers voice and their keyboard player.. The same with "Rush" and their lead singers high voice..

Got a story about this album.... The month I got out of the Army (Nov. "77") I bought a beat up old "67" Pontiac and put in a cassette player, bought one tape, it was Boston, My cousin and I lived in the ND boonies away from cities, people and traffic, just cows and coyotes to see (Bars too) hahaha.. We played this album continue day/night,for over two months! People would get into the car and say, what the hell, buy some different music... Hell no these guys rock and I'm not going into town for nothing... I think the following year I made it to town and bought a handful of tapes... Made everybody happy... This one just jars the memory... GOOD TIMES!

This one just jars the memory... GOOD TIMES! Funny you mention this album.......I have a story too. I'd just moved out of my apartment and into the college dorms (to save money). About 2 weeks prior, a buddy of mine who was stationed in Japan, had shipped me a stereo/receiver I had bought from him new (Marantz SR 4000), and I had just picked up a new pair or EPI 200B walnut floor speakers. None of which had been plugged in or fired up yet. Got settled in the dorm, hooked everything up and the very first LP I tossed on the the new system was that Boston album..........It was on a lazy Friday afternoon, not many folks around the dorms on Fridays, so I cranked the beast up.........damn, I was blown away. I had heard that LP on another guys system a few weeks prior, I liked it a lot , but it didn't seem to resonate like the band had stated it should due to their new and unique recording methods........On my system it rocked...........it wasn't long before the HR (housing resident manager), who was on duty that day, came banging on my door. So, I turned volume down and opened the door. She stood there and looked at me and my system for a minute, laughed and told me to crank it back up, she hadn't heard that album yet and now was convinced to purchase it........Boston had just become known out here in SoCal, so not to many folks had purchased any of their tunes yet. Thanks to that album, I got to know Karen very very well and was often invited to use my system at the dormie parties we threw every two weeks at the commissary lounge........always brought along that Boston LP.... still have it......lol
