Thanks Tony and Roy for putting this together - everyone had a lot of fun and other than a few errant hammer blows nobody got seriously hurt. Eva took a boatload of pictures and videos and I'm still trying to figure out how to put it together into a trip report. For now here's some pictures of our haul after getting it home today. Thundereggs - sizes ranged from golf ball to softball. I've only cut about six of them but every one cut so far looks great - little bit of moss but not a lot. Purple cow - I was accused of attacking bushes but I swear the best stuff is hiding under them. By the end of the weekend I had everyone including drocknut digging under bushes. This big guy is around 25lbs and farm fresh straight out of the ground - buried sideways (under a bush) took what seemed like about an hour to get it out. Probably made longer because I kept running into other pieces as I dug down and around it. It's showing a lot of white but also some very nice deep purple with a hint of red on three corners. Found some nice pieces of Gary Green thanks to guidance from nowyo , catmandewe , and roy Carnival agate - this piece weighed about six pounds - I spotted just a tiny tip sticking out of the dirt and started digging at it. This is about half of the original piece. Some green stuff near the purple cow. drocknut said the name but I can't remember it. Not sure if I like it... haha

The Gary Green is my favorite closely followed by the cathedral agate. They should make some beautiful slabs. Thanks for sharing.

In two days, I saw 5 bull snakes and one blue racer. Nice! With the dog running around we thankfully didn't see a single snake the entire four day trip. Maybe he's why we didn't haha.
